Also reminds me of something that was made last year by a group calling themselves Fatal Farm who puts out these weird videos such as their spin on openings to popular TV shows, but one thing in particular they touched upon was the daily Garfield strip, for which they made so-called 'tributes to Jim Davis' called "Lasagna Cat". These little pieces often have a sort of interpretation of a strip acted out by performers posing as the guys in the strip, and at the end of each one is a little music video bit often highlighting a theme from the strip with whatever song was used in the end.
